One of my favourite movies of recent times would have to be the American drama comedy "The Bucket List" (2007) with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman! It makes you laugh and it makes you cry! Another earlier movie I love is "The Shawshank Redemption" (1994) with Morgan Freeman (again) and Tim Robbins.
